Product details.
Adenosine Deaminase (ADA) reagent is an enzymatic assay for the in vitro quantitative detection of adenosine deaminase in human serum on semi- and fully automated clinical chemistry analyzers. ADA converts adenosine to inosine, and a coupled PNP, xanthine oxidase and peroxidase reaction forms a quinoneimine dye that is monitored kinetically. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.
The specifications and steps on this page are from the datasheet, last updated 04-2023. The datasheet governs: read it before use, or ask us.

Procedure at a glance4 steps
- Mix 10 µl of sample with 375 µl of R1 and incubate for 5 minutes at 37 °C.
- Add 125 µl of R2, mix, and incubate for 3 minutes at 37 °C.
- Read the absorbance at 546 nm continuously for 2 minutes and calculate ΔA/min.
- ADA (U/L) = ΔA/min × factor, with the factor worked out as the datasheet sets out.
