Who we are
Reckon Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. manufactures in vitro diagnostic reagents, rapid tests, controls and analyzers at 3/7, B.I.D.C, Gorwa, Vadodara 390 016, Gujarat, India.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, Reckon Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. is the data fiduciary for the personal data described here, and you are the data principal.
This notice covers this website only. Once you become a customer, what we hold and why is governed by whatever we agree with you in writing, not by this page.

What we collect
Nothing is collected automatically. There is no account, no login and no profile. We only receive what you type and then send.

Both forms also carry a hidden field that real visitors never see or fill. It exists to catch automated submissions and it is discarded.
What we do not collect
Worth stating plainly, because most sites in this industry do all four:
- No cookies. This site sets none at all. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics. No Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no heatmap, no session recording.
- No tracking. Nothing on this site follows you to any other site, and we build no profile of you.
- No automatic logging by us. The company that hosts this website keeps ordinary server request logs, as every web host does. We do not add to them and we do not use them to identify anyone.
Where your enquiry goes
This is the part most privacy notices leave out, so it is set out in full.
Your list, sent by WhatsApp
WhatsApp's click-to-chat is the only interface it offers, and it accepts a message only as part of a web address. So when you press send, your name, organisation, email, phone, country, notes and product list travel inside a URL. A URL is not private:
- it is written into your own browser history
- it passes through WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta
- either may retain it under their own terms, not ours
This is how the mechanism works rather than a fault in it, and the same warning appears on the form itself.
If WhatsApp is not available
The same enquiry opens in your own email program instead, addressed to mail@reckondiagnostics.com. The content then sits in your sent items and travels as ordinary email, which is not encrypted end to end.
The copy we keep
A copy of the same enquiry is recorded in a spreadsheet we control, so an order is not lost if a message is missed. That copy is sent as a POST request with the data in the body of the request rather than in the address, so it does not appear in any URL or in your browser history.
The general contact form
The contact form on the home page has no mail handler connected to it. It validates what you type and then tells you to email us instead. It does not silently discard anything, and nothing typed into it is transmitted anywhere.

Held on your own device
Your list is kept in your browser's local storage, under the name reckon.list. It holds the products you have added with their stock codes, pack sizes and quantities. It holds no personal data.
It never leaves your device until you press send, and we cannot read it. It is not a cookie: it is not attached to any request, and no other website can reach it.
It stays until you remove it. Emptying the list on the catalogue page clears it, and so does clearing site data in your browser.
Who else receives it
Three parties, and only these three:
- Meta, through WhatsApp. Receives your enquiry message if you use the WhatsApp checkout, as described in section 4.
- Google, through the map. The contact section embeds a Google map of our plant. When that map loads, Google receives your IP address and ordinary browser information. It is lazy-loaded, so this does not happen unless you scroll down to it. It is Google's code inside a frame and Google's terms apply to it.
- Our web host. Serves the pages and keeps ordinary server logs.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own purposes.
How long we keep it
The DPDP Act requires personal data to be erased once the purpose it was given for is served, unless a law requires us to keep it longer.

Your rights
As a data principal under the DPDP Act you may:
- ask what personal data of yours we hold, and what we have done with it
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate, or complete anything incomplete
- ask us to erase it, unless we are required by law to keep it
- withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawing it does not undo anything already done lawfully before you withdrew
- nominate someone to exercise these rights for you if you die or become incapacitated
Write to the grievance officer below to use any of them. Two honest caveats. We may have to confirm you are who you say you are before we act. And if your enquiry went through WhatsApp, a copy sits with Meta and in your own message history, neither of which we can delete on your behalf.
How to complain
Raise it with us first. The DPDP Act requires a grievance officer and requires them to respond within a stated period.

If our answer does not satisfy you, you may take the complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the date below changes with it. We will not quietly reduce your rights: any change that does so will be stated plainly on this page.
