Product details.
CK-MB is a reagent kit for the quantitative estimation of creatine kinase-MB activity in serum, by IFCC immunoinhibition. A monoclonal antibody blend fully inhibits CK-M activity, the remaining CK-B activity is measured by the rise in absorbance at 340 nm, and CK-MB activity is twice the CK-B activity. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
- Dissolve 1 bottle of 2 CK-MB in the 1 CK-MB buffer (1.1 ml, 3 ml or 10 ml) and wait 15 minutes.
- Warm 1.0 ml of working reagent at 37 °C for 5 minutes, then add 0.05 ml of sample.
- Mix and incubate at 37 °C for 5 minutes.
- Read the absorbance at 340 nm from 300 seconds at 30-second intervals, and work out ΔA/min.
- CK-MB (IU/L) = ΔA/min × 6752.
