Product details.
Creatinine (End Point & Kinetic) is a reagent kit for the quantitative estimation of creatinine in serum or urine by a modified Jaffe method, run either kinetically or as a two-step end point. Creatinine reacts with alkaline picrate to form a red complex whose rate of formation, read at 510 nm, is proportional to creatinine concentration. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
- Mix equal volumes of 1 Creatinine and 2 Creatinine as the day's working reagent.
- Kinetic: add 0.1 ml of standard or sample to 1.0 ml of working reagent, mix, and read at 510 nm at 20 and 80 seconds.
- Kinetic result: creatinine (mg/dl) = (TS2 − TS1) ÷ (ST2 − ST1) × 2.
- End point: incubate 1.0 ml of working reagent with 0.1 ml of standard or sample for 15 minutes at 37 °C and read; add 0.05 ml of 3 Creatinine, keep 5 minutes, and read again.
- End point result: creatinine (mg/dl) = (TS1 − TS2) ÷ (STD1 − STD2) × 2.
