Product details.
Creatinine-L (Single Liquid) is a reagent kit for the quantitative estimation of creatinine in serum or urine by a modified Jaffe method, with no deproteinisation. Creatinine reacts with alkaline picrate to form a coloured complex, and the rate of its formation, read at 510 nm, is proportional to creatinine concentration. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.
The specifications and steps on this page are from the datasheet, last updated 04-2023. The datasheet governs: read it before use, or ask us.

Procedure at a glance4 steps
- Pipette 1.0 ml of reagent into the standard and test tubes.
- Add 0.1 ml of standard to the standard tube and 0.1 ml of sample to the test tube; mix and aspirate.
- Read the standard and test at 510 nm at 20 seconds (ST1, TS1) and again at 80 seconds (ST2, TS2), against distilled water.
- Creatinine (mg/dl) = (TS2 − TS1) ÷ (ST2 − ST1) × 2; multiply by 88.5 for µmol/L.
