CRP Latex is a rapid latex agglutination slide test for the qualitative and semi-quantitative determination of C-reactive protein (CRP) in serum. Latex particles coated with anti-human CRP agglutinate when CRP is present; no agglutination is a negative result. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
- Bring the reagents and samples to room temperature, and mix the latex reagent well.
- Place 25 µl of sample or control in its circle on the slide.
- Add 25 µl of latex reagent and spread it with a separate mixing stick.
- Rock the slide gently, or use a rotator at 100 rpm, for 2 minutes.
- Agglutination within 2 minutes is positive. For a titre, repeat with the sample diluted 1:2 to 1:32 in normal saline.
