The Syphilis Card P.Series is a one-step immunochromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of antibodies (IgA, IgM and IgG) to Treponema pallidum in human serum or plasma. Recombinant syphilis antigens (17, 15 and 47 kDa) on the test line capture the antibodies in a double antigen format, with a goat anti-mouse IgG control line. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps

Bring the device to room temperature before opening the pouch, and label it.
Add 1 drop (about 25 µl) of serum or plasma to the sample well, then 1 drop of assay buffer, without overflowing.
Wait 5 to 20 minutes, until the background is clear.
Read the result; do not interpret it after 20 minutes.
C only is negative; C and T is positive for Treponema pallidum antibodies; no C line means the test is invalid.
