Product details.

The Leptospira Card (IgG/IgM) is a chromatographic immunoassay for the rapid, differential detection of IgG and IgM antibodies to Leptospira interrogans in human whole blood, serum or plasma. It gives a preliminary result: MAT, ELISA or PHA is needed to confirm infection. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
  1. Bring the specimen and test components to room temperature.
  2. Open the pouch at the notch and lay the device on a clean, flat surface.
  3. Add 1 drop (about 25 to 30 µl) of whole blood, serum or plasma to the sample well without air bubbles, then 2 drops (about 75 to 80 µl) of buffer.
  4. Read within 15 minutes, not later.
  5. C only is negative; C and M is IgM positive (acute infection); C and G is IgG positive (secondary or past infection); C, G and M is positive for both; no C line means the test is invalid.
