The Troponin-I Card is a one-step chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of cardiac troponin I (cTnI) in human whole blood, serum or plasma, as an aid in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction. A gold anti-cTnI conjugate and a test-line antibody form a pink-purple line when cTnI is present. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps

Let the device and the sample reach room temperature, and open the pouch only when ready.
Lay the device on a clean, level surface.
Add 3 drops (about 90 µl) of whole blood, serum or plasma to specimen well S.
Read at 10 to 15 minutes.
C only is negative; C and T is positive for cTnI, whatever the line intensity; no C line means the test is invalid.
