The H. Pylori Antibody card is a lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibodies to Helicobacter pylori in human whole blood, serum or plasma, as an aid in diagnosis. In a double antigen sandwich, the sample's antibodies bind H. pylori conjugates and are captured by H. pylori antigens on the test line. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
- Take the cassette out of its pouch and use it as soon as possible.
- Lay the cassette on a clean, level surface.
- Add 1 drop (about 25 µl) of whole blood, serum or plasma to specimen well S, then 2 drops (about 70 µl) of buffer, and start the timer.
- Read at 15 minutes; do not interpret after 20 minutes.
- C and T is positive for H. pylori antibodies; C only is negative; no C line means the test is invalid.
