The Pregnancy-hCG (EVA Strip) is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay strip for the qualitative detection of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine. The strip stands in the urine; a monoclonal anti-β hCG conjugate and an anti-α hCG test line form a pink-purple line when hCG is present, with a control line above it. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance4 steps

Pipette about 200 µl of urine into the bottom of a 12 × 50 mm test tube, without wetting the walls.
Place the strip in the tube, sample end down, up to the arrow mark.
Leave it standing until the control line has fully formed.
Read within 3 to 5 minutes: the control line alone is negative; test and control lines are positive.
