Ferritin Turbilatex is a reagent kit for the in vitro quantitative detection of ferritin in human serum on semi-automated and fully automated clinical chemistry analyzers. Ferritin and latex-bound antibody form a complex whose turbidity is proportional to the ferritin present. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
- Pipette 400 µl of R1 into the blank, calibrator and test tubes.
- Add 20 µl of calibrator to the calibrator tube and 20 µl of sample to the test tube.
- Mix and incubate for 5 minutes at 37 °C.
- Add 200 µl of R2 to every tube, mix, and incubate for 5 minutes at 37 °C.
- Read the test and calibrator against the reagent blank at 570 nm, and read ferritin off the calibration curve.
