CRP Turbilatex is a quantitative latex turbidimetric test for C-reactive protein (CRP) in human serum or plasma. Latex particles coated with anti-human CRP antibodies agglutinate with the CRP in the sample, and the change in absorbance is compared with a calibrator of known CRP concentration. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance4 steps

Mix 0.9 ml of diluent (R1) with 0.1 ml of latex (R2) as the working reagent; the calibrator is ready to use.
Add 5 µl of calibrator or sample to 1.0 ml of working reagent and mix.
Read the absorbance at 540 nm immediately (A1) and again after 2 minutes (A2).
CRP (mg/L) = (A2 − A1) of sample ÷ (A2 − A1) of calibrator × calibrator concentration.
