Reckon U-Stik reagent strips are dip-and-read strips for the visual, qualitative and semi-quantitative testing of urine for urobilinogen, glucose, ketones, bilirubin, albumin (protein), nitrite, pH, occult blood, specific gravity and leukocytes. Each pad is read against the colour chart on the bottle label, with no instrument needed. Manufactured at Reckon’s Vadodara facility under ISO 13485:2016 quality management, and released against reference standards before dispatch.

Procedure at a glance5 steps
- Check the expiry date, take a strip, and replace the cap immediately.
- Dip the strip completely in fresh, well-mixed, uncentrifuged urine for no more than 1 second.
- Draw the edge against the rim of the container to remove excess urine, and hold the strip horizontal.
- At 60 seconds, compare each pad with its colour chart on the bottle label, in good light.
- Ignore colour changes after 2 minutes, or changes only along the edges of a pad.
